Sweet Rice Balls In Milk syrup
Yesterday we were invited to my neighbour friends house for lunch. She is an awesome cook and she made a lot of Chinese food. One thing that we liked a lot was the dessert. It was made with sweet rice and soaked in milk . Oh god it was so delicious i do not even know how much we had. Flavour is some thing similar to pal payasam.
Here is the recipe
Sweet Balls In Milk Syrup
Sweet Rice Balls - 1 cup[ you can get this from any Asian market[lion] in the frozen section]
Sugar - 1/4 cup + 3 tbs
Whole Milk - 2 cups
In a pan add the milk and sugar let the sugar dissolve. Add the frozen rice balls and cook in medium flame stirring continuously until the rice balls are cooked. When these rice balls are cooked the will float to the top .Let it cool.Chill it 4-5 hours.Serve Cold.
