With steamed rice
This is one of the easiest kerala recipes. This is know as Ishttu in
kerala.The aroma of the coconut milk and oil is going to wow your guests.Hope you
enjoy making this like i do.
Potato-2 medium ones peeled and cut in to chunks
Onion-1 medium size[optional]
greenchillies-2 make a slit in the centre of the chillies
Ginger-1" piece thinly sliced
coconut mik-8-10oz[ I use Chef's Choice coconut milk because it is thicker
and flavourful that other brands]
Cook the potatoes and onion in water.Add the chillies and ginger. When
the potatoes are cooked drain the water if there is any becuase you don't
want the stew to bee too wattery. Add the coconut milk and salt bring to
boil. Remove from flame and add curryleaves and coconut oil.
