Pal Payasam

Pal Payasam

This is one of the easiest payasam to make because it is made in
pressure cooker and it tastes really good.


Whole Milk - 8cups

Rice- 3/4 cup { I use Nirapara Broken Matta Rice which is available in
any indian store}
Sugar - 1 Cup

Cardomom - 5 pods powdered
Saffron- apinch


In a large pressure cooker add the washed rice,milk,sugar,saffron and
cardomon.Cook over high heat until the first whistle and then reduce the
flame to low-medium cook for atleast 30 miniutes.
Remove the cooker from the flame and let it sit atleast for an hour.
When you remove the lid the you can see the payasam is nice pink in

This dessert is really good and it is easy to cook. My family and myself like it so much.
